150mm Skywatcher Dobsonian Reflector Telescope

The popular Skywatcher 150p Dobsonian Reflector telescope is simple to set up and use. It offers high definition views of the night sky, including breathtaking views of the moon, planets and thousands of deep sky objects. Tens of thousands of more stars can be seen with this size telescope than compared to our naked eye views. You’ll be able to see Saturn’s rings and some of Saturn’s moons, Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, stellar nurseries where new stars are being born and distant galaxies in deep space. In fact, with this size telescope, you can see more than 10,000 deep space objects in the night sky from a countryside observing location!

Everything you need to explore the night sky is included with the telescope. We’ll give you a couple of interchangeable lenses for different magnifications, and we’ll give you a folder of stargazing information to help you track down a whole host of celestial objects

The telescope tube weighs 7kg and attaches to the half-metre wide base using a couple of tension bars. The tension bars allow the tube to be aimed up and down, while the base rotates through 360-degrees to allow a complete range of movement.

The telescope can be collected from our hire base in Toddington, Bedfordshire by appointment, or we can arrange a delivery / collection service to and from your home address. Hire prices and delivery costs are detailed below.
